Yes, and it was a final eliminator so Zappavigna's next fight will be for a world title.

Lenny Zappavigna reminds me of his idol, Kostya Tszyu.

Zappa has been heavily talked about over here for a couple of years now, it will be good to see how he goes against the best in the world.

Sauerland is a wealthy promoter so Geale-Sylvester will likely be in Germany.

I think Zappa-Vasquez may be in Australia though.

Anyone who saw all of those fighters in their respective fights in October has got to be a true boxing fan. I saw two from that list.

I saw 3, but many other fights and I watch a lot of boxing.

from Freedom Fighters last edition Boxer of the month for September...I think I have watched nearly all of them beside one British card I think.....

Some of those fighters in the poll are from the smaller weight divisions, which often don't get as much attention.

But their performances in October were excellent and so I thought they deserved to be there.

October was a weak month aside the Klitschko fight and the last day of Oct (30)....it wasnt really near the month Septemeber was(the poll shows it), but u know NOVEMBER gonne be amazing, a real BOOM for boxing.

Yes, October was a slow month - two weekends (the 9th and 23rd) didn't have a single interesting fight.

But every weekend in November has good matchups! The 27th will be especially good with Froch-Abraham, JMM-Katsidis, and Bika-Ward.

true and I think you have left one very important name out for this month: Roman Gonzalez.

you have to bump this thread one more time later to find a winner, but shame you left Vitalis beat down out which everybody was talking about.
