Rios is not even gonna be part of the televised Pac-Margo PPV show, whereas on the Dec. 4th Chavez-Gomez PPV show, he was gonna be the opening PPV televised show.
They already had 9 fights scheduled for the Nov. 13. FIXED FIGHT ppv event.
Rios was not needed.
Rios just didn't want to fight on the Dec. 4th Chavez-Gomez card that Humberto Soto was fighting in, cause he doesn't want the fans to know that Rios is ducking Soto, afte he had called him out on HBO.
Rios was already being critizised for avoiding Soto and taking on a "tomato can"-Noe Bolanos;
By Chris Williams:
In a nice little mismatch, unbeaten lightweight contender Brandon Rios (25-0-1, 18 KO’s) will be taking on Mexican Noe Bolanos (21-5, 13 KO’s) in a scheduled 10 round bout on the undercard of the Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Alfonso Gomez card on December 4th at The Pond, in Anaheim, California. For Rios, who’s coming off of an impressive 7th round disqualification win over Anthony Peterson on September 11th, this is a big step down. You would think that a much better opponent should have and could have been found for Rios than Bolanos.

I thought Rios didn't want to fight on the same day due to adding more pressure to Garcia training Margarito?Comment

Rios will be spoon-fed an easy opponent since its short notice. (not ****ting on him, I mean its a short notice fight. I don't expect them to put him in there with someone who could pull off an upset.).Comment
