With the unexpected injury to former middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik, BoxingScene.com has learned that Top Rank is going to do some last minute shuffling. Pavlik was slated to face Brian Vera in the co-feature position on the Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito pay-per-view on November 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum confirmed to BoxingScene that Pavlik suffered a rib injury in training camp.

Just got confirmation that now that Kelly Pavlik has pulled out of his Nov 13th fight with Brian Vera, Brandon "Bam Bam" Rios is now slated to be moved from the Dec 4th card and onto the TV portion of the Nov 13th card.

Vanes Martirosyan, who was slated to be on Dec 4th's card in a non TV slot, now moves to the TV slot once held by Rios

no word on opponents for either

brandon rios vs juan diaz is a good stepping stone fight for rios, then eventually to a marquez fight. robert garcia is still here, so is humberto soto that would be another good fight. mercito gesta is another young up & comer to look out for.

What a dud this ppv has turned into. When Bob was putting it together it was sounding so epic that I was having a hard time not donating to the keep a killer on the streets and in the ring campaign. Not anymore, got no problem reading about it.
