I don't think it's a coverup or weight thing. He went through hell to make weight against Martinez. Now he has a fight at cowboy stadium - a fight against an easier opponent and a fight (way) more people will watch, sort of a perfect fight for a guy trying to get back into the elite.

A lot of people said he was just making excuses with the staph infection thing to but when he finally showed his hand it looked like a nuclear bomb was dropped on it and his doctor and father both said he had a near-fatal body temperature at one point and spreading MRSA.

I think Kelly Pavlik's career is over. Not only do I think his career is over, but his fan base must dead by now. It's too bad, I liked watching him box. The guy just has some bad luck I guess?
