Horrible example for yourself. Penalosa took an inhuman amount of punishment that fight and not only was still standing, but still fighting until the last round.

Getting walked down, is when the fighter has taken everything out of you, and the little energy you have left, you use on running or getting out of the way, instead of fighting. And the other fighter walks you down until it's all gone. Penalosa was still fighting, he was still in there, and what he had left he didn't use it any of it to run.

There was no quit in him until the fight was stopped, and only after Roach told him he was doing it.

and honestly, Penalosa is a middle aged man who has been fighting since he was a little kid and who's been through countless wars, Against the young dangerous lion that Lopez is. It's not like Lopez WASN'T winning every single round. And it's not like Penalosa WASN'T gonna retire shortly after.
