You know damn well Kessler only got that decision because the fight was in Denmark.

Whereas Calzaghe avoids prime fighters (sans Lacy), Froch has no fear and administers pwnage to prime fighters on the regular.

That makes him superior.

Plus, he has way better taste in woman. Calzaghe's g/f on 24/7 looked like some ex stripper.

I'll admit it was a close fight. But no robbery at all. Kessler hurt Froch to the body numerous times in that fight and was the agressor in some of the rounds. Hell, I heard Burner say that Paul Williams' resume was better than Calzaghe's and people called him a dumb ass for it. But I really don't know what is so far fetched about that because Williams beat a prime Margarito in Cali. Beat Winky which deserves more credit than a shot Roy Jones even if Winky was old. And a win over Martinez is on par with Calzaghe's win over Hopkins since both fights were fought competitively.

they both beat kessler IMO

frochs more of a gutsy fighter than calz but i dont know if he necessarily has a better record.. YET, lets see in a couple years

In summary, Froch shits all over Calzaghe.

To be fair the Kessler that fought the zagman was one of the best looking up and comers in the sport. He took too long to come stateside for big fights and had slowed down by the time he got into the ring with froch. He'd have killed Froch in his prime. Hell, i think he'd have done a bit better with andre ward.

Taylor never had enough down the stretch at any point in his career to deal with a big strong puncher like froch (i was ringside for that fight)


The Hopkins that fought Joe Calzaghe was a top p4p fighter at the time, and also the legit LHW world champion
old but still very good. nothing like today



Joe's got the superior resume at this point
though froch has fought the best of the best only for years now and must be commended


all that being said i think joe's the superior fighter by a real stretch and a legit ATG SMW

I agree with you that Froch has a better resume' but Zags is greater due to his longevity and flawless record.

And..... Zags win over Kessler will always give him the advantage in head to head comparissons. Froch will never live that down.

Calzaghe's fighting style is shit. Got a bunch of stoppages in Wales that were gifted to him without earning him with that slapping style.
