Huh? You Gaye Boyz are poor at artithmetic aren't you? Wlad wants to put everything in a big pot, ALL of the revenue, including German TV revenu, and split it 50/50. Meanwhile Gaye wants ALL of the Brit PPV money with Wlad keeping the German money and everything else 50/50, which would result in Gaye getting MORE than 50/50. Do you understand that?

Gaye is ducking, he knows Wlad will not except less than 50/50, nor should he. But hey, you are all Gaye's accountants it looks like, you are happier with the fact that he will make more money fighting a string of bums rather than taking him to task for not fighing the Klitschkos, which is the only reason why people even know his name now.

Sure, he'll make a mint fighting Wlad, but he'll also get his face bashed in and made a laughing stock by the British press (who'll turn on him like wolves, believe me). If Haye's thinking about life after boxing then I don't see where a Klit enters that equation.
if haye lost to wlad, there is no shame in that,he knows it,wlad is the bigger stronger man.i dont think the press would bash him either, they would call him brave for taking on a hard challenge.

true and i agree with you but if wlad let haye keep the british ppv money then the would be on wouldnt it?

haye shouldnt get more but if wlad really wants to bash hayes face in then he could take the deal and knock out haye.

Bullshit. Wlad has the German TV money under lock and safe...He has a contract with them.

He refuses to let Haye in on that deal but expects to get Uk profits. THe sooner Wlad realizes he is not the only draw on this card the sooner the fight will happen.

Why is Wlad scared of this deal? If Wlad is the draw he thinks he is, he should have no trouble equaling or surpassing Hayes numbers. Germany has a population of 81 million compared to the UK's 61 million. WLad knows deep down he is cashing in on Haye, not the other way around.

I gurantee Haye will fight Wlad next year. He's just building it up and raking in the cash considering he is retiring soon.

More build up and the more time he puts it off the bigger the fight gets and the more anticipation there is for it, all it's doing is building a bigger grudge than there already is.

People are idiots if they think Haye is going to pass up on a career high pay day and it ain't just a big payday, it's one of the biggest and most anticipated fights in boxing!

It will happen, he's just being smart about how he goes about it, getting the most money he can basically.

Ordinarily I'd agree with you, but Haye built his entire rep on making people think he could (and would) beat a Klitschko. He's gonna have the weight of a nation on his shoulders, and they're gonna expect him to perform. Believe me, you don't know our press. They're famous for building people up and knocking them down at the first failed hurdle, and if Haye gets throroughly outclassed by Wlad (which let's face it is what's going to happen here) then he'll never be able to show his face in public again, I can guarantee you that.

This would only apply if he was the average heavyweight contender who's up next in line for a title shot. Who never bad mouthed the Klitschko's and was always polite during the press conf's.

That's your typical Klitschko challanger and that type usually gets submitted in 8 rounds and everything is ok (a la Eddie Chambers for one example).

But Haye is different, he has talked himself up and he has stalled on fighting The Klitschko's. He is virtually the first to do this (except Povetkin but he doesn't count since he is not talking **** either) and even made the Klitschko's go out of character and act a bit flamboyant in calling him out. When Haye gets his ass kicked for calling all the heavyweights bums, he will be embarassed, humiliated and forcefully humbled...

The Shannon Briggs ass creaming was a good example of what's to come for Haye. But at least Briggs had the good sense to backtrack and call Vitali better than Lewis and the hardest puncher he ever fought. That kind of numbed the humiliation after all that trash-talk, we don't know if Haye will react the same. What's he gonna say after he losses to a Klitschko? That he was just promoting himself and the fight, that the klitschko's are great? Make excuses? I don't know.
