Yes the Punisher & Martinez are fighting at a catchweight,but it's not the same as Margarito Pacman because Martinez is the middleweight champion of the world!!I don't think the fight should be at a catchweight,but it's a championship fight between a champion & the man that beat him recently!!Exactly who between Margarito & Pacman are a champ at 154,the div in which their fighting for a vacant title,yeah,that's what I thought!!I don't like catchweights,but Martinez is the middleweight champ at the very least!!I understand that ur a Margarito rider,whatever,this tread is not really about him though!!

For this post its OK that Martinez vs Williams is at a catchweight because one of them holds the title, as you say .... BUT when you need to discuss Manny's "other" catchweight (Cotto), you will forget what you just said in this post.

This tread was done,but here we go again,I would have prefered for the Punisher-Martinez to be at a full 160,but lets not forget the facts here!!Both the Punisher & Martinez were available when Pacman chose Margarito!!Again I would have prefered the fight at 160!!The Punisher was vying for a fight with either Floyd or Manny,(which would be lower than 160)!!Pacman decided to fight Margarito at a catchweight for a vacant title!!That's what happened,turn it however you like,but the Punisher would have fought Pacman at 147,if he wasn't to big!!According to Pacman's team,Foreman was too big,(but Cotto the lesser fighter)mind you didn't think so,Pacman deserves no pass,if he's too small for the Punisher or Martinez at 154,then he shouldn't fight there!!
