Pacquiao is taking on Margarito because it's the best money fight right now outside of Floyd.

Also Margarito is a tougher fight than anyone else at 147 and 154 outside of Shane Mosley or Alfredo Angulo.

I don't see the problem as Margarito is a live opponent as well as a boxer who well bring in the most ppv buys. Not only that.....he will actually fight Manny instead of bull****ting like Manny's last opponents.

As far as PPV.....yes Margarito makes more sense, money wise, than Pwill, Sergio or anyone else not named Floyd Mayweather. This should be common knowledge....but I guess it's not.

I can't believe that A Pacfart can come on here & make a tread about fighting Margarito because he beat Cotto!!Triangle theories do not work,but you children refuse to listen!!Mosley lost to Cotto,in a very close fight,he was not dominated!!Cotto was young & in his prime at the time!!Margarito was caught loading his gloves in his dressing room before Mosley beat the brakes off of him!!If he was caught loading up for Mosley,it is a strong possibility that he did the same thing 6 months prior!!

I feel you on this part. How Margarito landed a fight of this magnitude so early after what happened is beyond me, but it's here and better than nothing.

This fight does the following:

1. Allows Top Rank to keep all the Money in house. Again I know people
b1tch and moan but the basic concept of any business is to make money. Margarito vs Pac allows everyone involved to make the most money....period.

2. Allows Arum to bring Margarito back. Again as long as Margarito is competitive....Arum has another money maker in his stable. Margarito vs Cotto will be big, as well as Margarito vs Martinez and a few other fights.

3. Margarito is the biggest name....meaning he has the biggest fan base. That leads to more PPV buys, which is important if they enter a third negotiation with Floyd Mayweather.

I will stop there but there are several reason why Pacquiao vs Margarito makes sense. No one gives a **** about some internet fans, who will more than likely stream these fights anyway, think. It's about targeting a Market of potential buyers to make the most money.....and Pac vs Margarito makes the most sense from a business perspective.
