Francisco Espinosa, the co-manager of Antonio Margarito (38-6, 27 knockouts), has fired back at Freddie Roach, the trainer of Manny Pacquiao (51-3-2, 38 KOs). During a recent interview with Robert Morales of BoxingScene.com, Roach said that he believes Margarito had full knowledge of the illegal plaster-like inserts that were found in his handwraps prior to the fight with Shane Mosley in January 2009. Later in the interview, Roach raised the possibility that Margarito loaded his gloves for the fights with Miguel Cotto and Kermit Cintron, both of which took place in 2008.

DLH - Manny moved up 2 weight divisions to fight oscar.. oscar dropped 3 pounds.
Hatton - Manny fought Ricky at his best weight and destroyed him
Cotto - Many thought Cotto's first body shot would have Manny on the floor..
Clottey - Clottey was a tough fight for any WW, until manny fought him..

Manny has accomplished more at WW in 2 years than Floyd has in 5 years.. 2 years ago this would be laughed at, now.... we have people like you.

Shrink-wrapped DLH, who was 145 two weeks before the fight lost 9 pounds, and had not fought at welter for 7yrs. That fight was a joke. Oscar is an idiot, what was he thinking? And where were his people?

Oscar was not a welter, he was a shot dehydrated jmw.

Hatton was not a welterweight.

The Cotto fight was not at welter, it was a catch-weight bout. But it was a superb performance by Manny none-the-less.

Clottey.....

The only welterweight that Manny has ever fought at 147.... was Josh Clottey.

And Clottey didn't seem to want to hurt Manny, as we have discussed previously.

Manny is a superb fighter, and a punching machine, but I would love to see him fight Mosley, or Mayweather. Margarito is big, but he is not a top fighter, as a past-prime Shane showed.
