And, apart from the **** that Haye/Booth talk, I have no real problem with them keeping K2 at bay until it becomes a finale, or standing up to them at the negotiating table when it happens..... coz I picked that too.

That fight will get made, and imo will get knocked out earning his retirement fund, regardless as to which bro he fights.
He said "I will never fight a Klitschko while they insist on getting a 50/50 purse". How is he going to get out of that one? The deal he turned down this year is the best deal he's going to get, so I don't see how he can accept it now without losing face.

That said, I think he might just take a Vitali fight on those terms, because I think he's banking on the fact that Vitali seems to be slowing down. And because it's a different fighter, and because the British press are so bootlickingly loyal to him, he might just get be able to sign to fight Vitali without losing face, especially as he will claim that he's taking on the tougher brother, and the British press will go along with his pretence. But I would bet all my points that he has no plans to fight Wlad, and I don't see how he can, without completely losing face, given that Wlad would still be offering him precisely the same deal that he's already said is unacceptable.

Do the Klitschko's have a little sister that we don't know about? Because she is the one that David "The Noisemaker" Haye must be thinking of fighting. And David can go to Hollywood and play the role of the former heavyweight champ. Because in the span of Haye's heavyweight career he went from contender to pretender and the Hollywood fantasy world will be a perfect fit.

I don't really think it matters. He was not going to fight a K-bro at that stage, no matter how much they paid him. An Audley fight + a K-bro fight = far more than he will make from just a K-bro fight, regardless of how favorable the deal was. And this way he gets to give public interviews for another 12 months

Haye's options were, for example ....
          * fight a K-bro for $20mil, lose title and opportunity for future earnings
          * fight Audley for $10mil, retain title, then unify before retiring for another $20mil+ vs a Klitschko.

Figures guess-timated, but you get my point.

There was simply no other intelligent choice to make, considering that a Klitschko fight will always be sitting there waiting, and Haye intends to retire within the next 12 months or so.

In terms of value within the heavyweight division, Haye is worth nowhere near 50%..... you know it, I know it, and I am betting that David Haye is also aware of that fact.

Well, then Haye has 12 months in which to hope that Vitali loses a step.

I think I might have mentioned this before..... but I don't think that Haye can beat Vitali. I give him a slim chance of getting to Wlad before he settles/adjusts..... but I don't think that Haye could beat Vit based on both of their last performances.

My reasoning is that Haye may be able to get to both brothers early in the fight, and that if he does, Vit takes it better than Wlad. But who knows, Wlad's better technique and fighting tall might serve him better than I'm guessing.

Haye has little chance either way imho, so I can understand him taking a huge local payday first, and I can also understand him holding out for the best deal.

But saying that 50/50 is not acceptable, would be a blatant career-ending duck, and would also be a stoning offense as far as even casual fans are concerned.

Things are progressing slowly, but the plan is right on track.

Jono will get his wish, Haye will fight a Klitschko in 2011.

            But until then.....

Haye is not going to shut his fkn big mouth.....

Butthurt fans, still smarting over Haye's arrogant insults, will be further incensed, some will even be driven to the brink of insanity

Then, Haye will get what's coming to him.

I picked this all months ago, before Harrison was even mentioned.

The fact he's even thinking and talking about things like that says enough.

He's not focused on boxing and being a fighter.

He's focused on getting attention, no matter HOW that is.

Shame. Given that if he faces a Klit, I'd now put him significantly overhyped, unfortunately.

Not sure how David Haye will do in the actin business, it usually doesn't go over well in the industry when a star ducks a fight scene with John C. Reilly.

OMG this guy is a ****ing JOKE. When he became the lineal Cruiserweight champion and announced a move up to HW I was soo exited. I supported him 100% through his first couple fights, but now I just can't STAND him....I remember he was talking sooo much smack about how he will knock out the Klitchko's, sadly I really believed him. But I am now truly convinced this guy is a FRAUD....he has NO passion for boxing, and just in it for the money. God please I wish he fights the Klitchkos, then the only acting roles he'd get would be someone on a wheelchair. LMAO

David Haye won't retire unless a Klit puts him into it. Ain't no way in hell Haye beats either Klitschko.
