that was on Joe Greene...i dont mind Vanes...i think he's a good boxer and once they finally put him in against a marquee name, some opinions about him will change

Fair enough and I can see why, I have Kotelnik at 4.

The only reason I have Alexander at #3 is because he technically won, even though I don't think he did. Technically he did you know. So that is why I have him #3 and Kotelnik at #4 with Maidana being at #5.

But, having Kotelnik at #3 and Devon at #4 would not get any argument from me. I can see that.

Was Devon ranked number 2 by the ring before the Kotelnik fight?

If not Pacquiao and Mayweather, I honestly have to say Amir Khan. I'm not tired of hearing about any of the choices u picked.

I don't see how Alexander proved "it wasn't a typical performance against a top JWW who had the right style and the right gameplan to beat Alexander. Which he did by the way.

Alexander was not "way up in the scorecards" against Urango either. He probably was way up on your scorecards but the official scorecards had Alexander up by 1 round in one card, the other judge had Urango up by one rounds, and the last judge had Alexander up by 3 rounds. That is not way up . And, I think I had Alexander up by 1 rounds as well against Urango. So no Alexander wasn't way up. Maybe according to you just cuz it looks like youre a huge Alexander fan.

If he used he had an off night excuse, fine. It is lame cuz Kotelnik is not as "average" as you trying to make him out to be. But, it wasn't just the "off night" excuse or fact or opinion or whatever you want to call it.

It was "off night" "not in shape" "fought dumb" it just wasn't one that you used. It was 3 LAME EXCUSES that you used. If you just want to say off night fine, but the other 2 completely BS.

H2H match up Alexander could beat Khan, I can agree with that. Does that mean that Alexander is better than Khan? No, it just means that he has they style that would give Khan hell. Just like Alexander is better than Kotelnik however Kotelnik has the style to give Alexander hell everytime. If Alexander doesn't improve and mature in some things. However, Khan would have the style to Damn near shutout Kotelnik.

Style makes fights and is all about match ups. I personally rank only Bradley ahead of Khan right now at JWW. I got Alexander at #3.
i agree. i rank khan ahead of alexander in terms of ability right now too although alexander achieved more as a pro and is ranked higher in that regard. thing is alexander can get smarter and more skilled in the ring, amir cant do much for his punch resistance.

im not a huge alexander fan, i think hes great for the sport since hes willing to fight the best in his division. much more willing than both khan and bradley, thats my beef with khan too. hes dissrespecting guys then refusing to get in the ring with them. i give him credit for fighting maidana though, hopefully he will take another hard fight right afterwards and not look for a easy oponent.

the whole thing with khan and alexander is wazaa saying im bitter about kotelnik beating alexander, thats not the case at all. that night i just realized hes alot less mature a fighter than i (and most ppl) thought, he still has more mental and physical tools than most if not all young fighters in the game right now. he will bounce back, but according to wazaa im bitter about the whole thing, and its the reason i dont like khan.

i dont like khan bcuz hes a douche, hes a good fighter (could be great one day) but outside the ring hes obnoxious. reminds me of haye and mayweather only he hasnt achieved half as much. dissrespecting his own training partner pacquiao is just a **** move, and saying hes 50/50 with mayweather is delusional. i just want him to take fighters he wont fight out if his mouth, and im sick of seeing headlines about him every single day. thats what the thread is about, who are u sick of hearing about, i said khan and wazza got all gay about it.
