Not just punching power, but just RAW POWER overall... not weight-lifting type power either, obviously, but boxing power... When I first heard they were fighting I thought without a doubt Abraham is... But now the more I think about it - while Abraham might have more devastating "one-punch" power, Froch might be just a more powerful animal in terms of boxing... Anyone who boxes knows what kind of STRENGTH Im talking about... Ive been able to lift twice the amount of weight of some of these smaller, beast ass boxers in my gym, but in the ring, lol, it feels as if they are twice as strong as me... Even though I hit harder, they are just stronger...
Who is stronger/more powerful Abraham or Froch?

you mean whos more of a bully? thats a tough one
froch at his best has that vitali-esque arms out stance where his arms are always either ready to fire or just pushing and grinding on the other guy, even in a round hes losing hes always physically "present"
abraham is much more compact but seems like unmovable boulder
tough fight to pick, but if froch can stay outside of AA as well as he did Kessler (thought he wont hat fight but it was close), he might interrupt AA's waiting game and force a slugfest. AA could cover up and wait for a big shot against Dirrell but Froch will hurt him if he just stands there like that. -

They both have decent enough chins. They both have decent enough stamina. They both have solid punches and they both have thicker bodies. Carl Froch is the naturally bigger guy at this point.
Pound for pound, it could be either. In this fight, I'm thinking Froch is the stronger. Doesn't mean Abraham will lose or that he's significantly smaller. He's just newer at the weight.Comment

Abraham most definitely hits harder than Froch but i would say Froch is stronger or atleast using his strength more, look at the Dirrell fight he roughed him up alot more than Abraham did.Comment

Tricky question. They're both strong in different ways, but actually trying to pin down in what way they're stronger is hard to define. Abraham is the stockier of the two, obviously, and uses that core strength to generate his chilling knockout power. He really puts his whole body into shots, so much so that when he misses he almost spins right round. Also, and this is just a guess, but he strikes me as having one of those dense Tua/Marciano/Liston esque bone structures that allow him to cause so much damage to his opponents because his fists don't seem to give much upon impact. They just drive straight through his opponents' faces. Watch the Gevor knockout, and see just how unstoppable AA's fist is. It's almost like he's meeting no resistance at all. Froch, on the other hand, seems to possess more arm and upper body strength. His single shots might not be that hard, but he has the ability to cause damage just with short arm punches thrown at close/mid range. This gives him the ability to throw with power even without much wind up or when he's not in the best of positions, simply by muscling the shot. His power is more of the grind you down sort which takes its toll on opponents in the later rounds, even if they haven't really been hit by any really big shots. People like to make a big deal about Taylor gassing, but he was taking a lot of not so noticeable punishment on the inside from Froch throughout the whole fight. Same with Pascal.
I'm still not entirely satisfied that what I've written is what I want to say. So let's put it this way: if Abraham gets the opportunity to land a big one it's lights out. But Froch will have more opportunities to cause hurtful damage during the fight.Comment

KING Arthur had Dirrell running like a b*tch for the whole fight.
KING Arthur hit Dirrell so hard he now thinks he's acting.
KING Arthur overpowered Edison "Tough and Strong as a Pantera" Miranda.
KING Arthur fought almost a whole fight with his jaw hanging from his face. AND WON.
King Arthur is much more stronger and powerful. What Froch does with 5 punches, Abraham does with 2.
Pray for the other Super Six participants you don't make the King mad.Comment

froch has more general strength but that is because he is a more natural 168 pounder imo
abraham really has to wind up his punches to get serious power in it imo
froch in general punches without winding up vs abraham would be the stronger guyComment
