not really, the guy that continually beat Gamboa in the amateurs was Yan Barthelemy, beat him 3 out of 4 years in the Cuban Championships.

As far as Lopez, Donaire and Perez...I'm extremely confident in them beating Rigodeaux.

Man if a fight materilizes between any of those guys...remember me, as I'm willing to give you some good odds.
I will, great discussion, lets just hope now any of those fights happen.

A good test for Rigo is Abner Mares, who beat Juanma in the AMs but ducked him in the Pros, and lost his first championship fight.

Rigo was the Cuban team captain. Which usually means he was recognized as the greater talent.

Not that it matters, you'll never see a Gamboa vs Rigo fight. If Dirrell vs Ward never happened, then trust me, you'll never see two cubans from the same olympic team against each other. Hell Rigo was Gamboa's roommate when he landed in the states, no (I might be remembering that incorrectly)?

I'm pretty sure to these guys, it's cuba vs the world.

Besides, to be honest, I don't want to see Rigo vs Gamboa. They like and respect each other too much. That usually translates to ****ty fight where they don't really go at it. Anyone remember Wlad K vs Ibragimov?
