It's just a warm up, guys. Looks like a typical day in the gym. Still, it's no secret he was always a little too safety first and reserved in his past fights.

That's style worked in the amateurs, but he needs to be more aggressive as a pro. He won't let loose on his opponents unless he is countering most of the time...

you guys dont know **** about boxing. i notice this the more i read yall post. do you guys know the point of sparring? some go hard in sparring sometimes boxing spar just to move around or work on different aspects of their game. to say he needs to step it up or keep up pace or he dont look special is crazy. he obv working with the guys and are jsut sparring. its obv they bigger than him but not as skilled and he took it easy. from the workout it looks like he was doing a light workout and not in training camp.

theres plenty of times i have to spar and im told to go light or jsut work on defense or work my jab and circling my opponent. not take his head off. you learn nothing from that and only spar hard when preparing for a fight.

So far he has been getting away with using his right jab as a range finder, then he looks for one clean left hand shot. He is probably to the point where has become less reliant on the jab, like Floyd & Roy Jr.

We'll see if Shields can help him implement it back.

His next fight is a good step up. The guy is older and is going to move fast. if he beats Cordoba thats a great start.
