Rigo isnt that kind of fighter. He is content to just control his oppoenents. I admit this is one of his weaknesses and why he can be out worked. But he will knock you out if he knows he can.

he just turned pro May 2009, he had to defect from Cuba to turn Pro, if he could have turned Pro years ago he would have obviously!
Rigondeaux is SKILLED, his age won't effect him much especially the way he fights...he doesn't take much damage or punishment so he could be around even late in his 30's and still be fighting at a high level

He aint got time to be bullshyttin. clock is ticking, he has to look specacular to get more big fights. he needs KOs, anyway he can get em. He's gotta be entertaining, forget that drag the fight out non sense. he better stop this guy...he doesn't wanna look like how Gamboa did in his last fight. cus i'll tell you right now, i don't think Gamboa will headline HBO again unless he fights Cabellero.

first Priority is the ***in WIN and if you can be entertaining while winning then so be it, but nobody fights to be entertaining first then try and win second

The commentators were dogging Gamboa in the later rounds. and after, they even said that they didn't like his new passive style at all. I know Rigo has all the ability in the world, so why sell himself short. the young floyd knew he needed to bring excitement, and he did so very successfully against guys like Corley and Emanuel Augustus. Don't forget young floyd was knockin *****s the *** out. If you are truly great, you can be entertaining no problem at all.
