It would be better than beating 30 little school girls that have already been beaten... Right?

what do you want us to say?

he made an average fighter move up 7 lbs and had a tough fight with him with the referee giving him a major helping hand. pacquiao, a real all time great showed hatton for what he was and he is a blown up lightweight.

so yes, who cares about that win? very overrated.

Also, you have to add something that most of the idiot haters on this site don't know because they have only been following boxing for a few years. Floyd tried to secure a fight with Hatton at 140 after he beat Jose Luis Castille twice. It would have been his first fight at 140. Hatton's promoter, Frank Warren, and Hatton's father declined the fight.

No matter what you you think of him nobody can discredit this fight.

Hatton was at the top of his game.

          Unbeaten number 1 JWW.

          Floyd dominated and kayod him.

          Simple as really.

If he shouldnt be at 147 then im pretty sure he wouldnt have been there.
Hatton never belonged at 147. Mayweather was already used to 147 and thats that. The win isnt huge. it was just to sell tickets and make money.

Good..so it's time to STFU about Nanny starting at 106lbs.

Hatton should have fought Floyd at 140 when he was there calling his ass out.

Ricky should have fought Floyd at 140...he had ample opportunity.

Too bad Cotto ate himself out of the 140lb class.

He's way too small to be at 147 or 154.

It was a solid win. It played similar to the zab fight where May had to take a few rounds to adjust. In hatton's case it was his foot speed. I remeber from a vid interview of Roger, it took May 5 rds to figure out and time hatton.

As for the weight, the fighters fought at the agreed upon weight. Get over it. Let's not b**ch about fighters agreeing to catch weights, and b**ch about fighters agreeing to fight at the division's limit too.

At the same token, if a fighter doesn't want to fight at a certain weight or a contract stipulation, it's their right to accept or reject the proposed contract. This applies to all fighters, regardless if their names start with 'May' or 'Pac'

Floyd Mayweather had already been fighting at 147 for some time when he fought Hatton. It had been proven that Hatton was'nt much at 147 from his fight with Callazo. Floyd had the opportunity to fight Hatton at his best when they were both at 140. Instead Floyd went and let his body mature at WW and then decided to move Hatton up to 147. Hatton is'nt the greatest fighter but I believe under different circumstances he could have won that fight.

                      Hatton declined Floyd at 140.
