WOW! i know roach is only hyping up his fighter but comparing him to the Number 1 boxer on the planet pound for pound? i dont think so freddy...having speed is something but using that speed in real fight situations is different...rating fighters is not only on speed and skill....its the whole package, other factors should also be accounted for like durability, achievement, heart etc etc... and khan is nowhere near manny if you measure all those factors...

If a monster puncher like Maidana lands clean shots on Khan and it doesn't end up being a repeat of the Prescott fight, then we might be looking at the future #1 P4P and cash cow of Boxing. Khan-Maidana might be a turning point for the sport.

Manny's on his way out in 2-3 more fights, Floyd already has a foot out the door and shows no interest in getting back into it (plus many personal issues), the void has to be filled by someone.

Khan has the raw talents to be the #1 pound for pound fighter once Pacquiao and Mayweather retires. One thing that I'm su****ious about is his chin, I hope Maidana comes out brawling.

Brawling wont cut it I dont think , you want someone who can box and punch Bradley is very close , Alexander is overated I reckon , , Khan will eat slow fighters at the moment and is a good front running fighter , they look like magic in front and fold in the trenches , the top liners go well in the trenches and I think this is where khan will fall , Maidana has the power but wont get on he is too slow and he will get hit a lot .
