As if Maidana is on the same level as Mayweather.

i honestly think khan has a lot of potential... people focus too much on the prescott fight (which clearly was a wake up call for the guy)... even victor ortiz is doing better since his loss. i think its good for these hyped up prospects to get tested and put in their place. personally, im looking forward to khan developing into a great fighter (if all goes according to plan). i favor khan over the other jr welters... he has all the right pieces of a good career (GBP, roach, solid jab, good range, handspeed, etc.)... he can learn to keep his chin in check.

but roach is delusional if he actually thinks khan is on mayweathers level. LOL.

              Roach's comments...

Wow! Roach really is hyping Khan unlike no other. Seems like he has Khan rated at Pac's level or "at times" higher. Currently I think Khan is a good fighter, w/ the tools that'll give him potential to be great. But he still has alot of proving to do. He hasn't really fought nobody, a corpse of Marco Antonio Barrera, and boxing with Malignaggi is like participating in a pillow fight even though Paulie does have good technical skills. And his upcoming fight with Marcos Maidana is dangerous only if Maidana lands anything, because he's powerful but slower than a snail. We all know Khan's chin isn't iron, and I dont really know if there's effective ways to improve your chin. Is their? You can't blame Roach for hyping up his guy lol, but Khan does need a little humble pie. He should look up to Pacquiao, a guy who came from rags to riches, from **** to sugar, and he doesn't even have the ego that Khan has, and what has Khan achieved? Anyways that's how I feel about this matter, who cares about Roach talkin' out his ass though lol.

He's said Amir's quicker for ages, so to suddenly say just slightly 'now' is a little odd.
