Anyways, not for a second do I believe that Segura is ducking or will duck Gonzalez. Even if he moves up in weight and the fight doesn't happen I don't consider it a duck.

However, to say Gonzalez hasn't earned the right to fight Segura is ridiculous. He has some solid fighters, retired a very good title holder in Niida. And, dominated Niida in the process. And, Takayam was a solid fighter as well.

Does Segura win over Calderon better than any win in Gonzalez resume? Yes. Should Segura be ranked higher? Yes. Is Gonzalez over hyped cuz of his record? No, and if you seen Chocolatito fight you would know that. Would a fight between him and Segura be a great? It would be an F'ing war. Does Gonzalez earned or deserve to be in the ring with Segura? You damn right he has. To say other wise is just not really knowing who Roman Gonzalez is.
