to the point brought up earlier..i think Leonard was more popular and well known among the casual boxing fans. He was the "Golden Boy" like DLH is now. Duran was a machine and praised by boxing experts and real boxing fans alike. So.going into that fight..i think more people knew Leonard in America..whilst the latin countries knew more bout Duran.
