DAN RAFAEL is a GODSEND!!!!! STOP COMPLAINING!!!!!

Dan Rafael is by far the best boxing journalist in MANY years, and is likely to enter the Boxing HOF ****ers.

Guy is EXTREMELY objective and unbiased, despite what u guys constantly moan about.

He has DEVOTED his life to his job. He doesn't go out on weekends. Watches EVERY fight, whether its live or on DVD.

Holds 3+ hour chats EVERY SINGLE FRIDAY, almost without fail, for the fans. Whether you like his personality or not, the guy releases POUNDS of useful information in them and can be pretty funny.

Has SEVERAL blogs released each week, WHICH HE DOES NOT NEED TO DO OR GET PAID TO DO.

    Is an EXCELLENT writer.

    Updates the schedule DAILY.

His Rankings are THE BEST IN THE WORLD. He POURS over those rankings, makes sure they are PERFECT.

Is EXTREMELY open about everybody in the industry, how the business works, who does what and how good a job he thinks they do.

And is one of the single hardest working guys in the industry.

    ----

Love him or hate him, Dan Rafael is one of THE BEST in the business, I couldn't IMAGINE anybody else being the main guy for ESPN, AND HE WILL BE SORELY MISSED WHEN HE IS GONE.

Trust me. Get to like this guy because there is nobody in ANY other sport that's does what this guy does, and he does it WELL.

lol whether thats true or not doesnt even matter. He uses that time to create entertainment for me instead of jerking off and playing with his cats all day.

I for one am extremely appreciative, even if his personality can be a bit abrasive and arrogant

You made some good points, the bit about not getting paid was wrong, I'm sure he gets payed very well by ESPN. But he does have bias like everyone. He does a good job with his updates I agree.
What I truly don't like about him is that he is EXTREMELY rude.

Of coarse he gets paid, im talking about his BLOGS.

He could write one blog a month and still get paid the same amount. Instead he decides to use his very lofty position to express himself and inform all of us, writing sometimes 2 or 3 blogs a week. No other writer does that.

And while he may have a bias, he doesn't let it show. He says he has favorites like Joel Julio and Acelino Freitas, but when he writes about them you couldn't even tell.

He is very rude his chats sometimes, but who cares. I'm sure in person he is much different. It is easy to be an ******* online, and is a lot of fun too

if you dont think he is a FANTASTIC journalist then you have no IDEA what you are talking about. Which is part of the problem

Guy writes FANTASTIC, well informed, well thought out articles on a VERY consistant basis.

I doubt he watches every fight and I disagree that his rankings are perfect. In fact they are pretty crappy in certain divisions, especially the lower ones.
