Its hard to throw the clottey fight in because Cotto was fighting with one eye for most of the fight. But Cotto Marg 2 has to happen. Im de fdown to see that! Im sure Cotto will be better prepared and with a better game plan for the rematch. Cant count him out yet.

I've seen fighters with one eye do better than Cotto did vs Clottey.

Cotto can't keep Tony off him....the rematch would be cruelty.

So, if Cotto opts to fight Margarito again rather then fight JCC jr., why not have Chavez go back to his original plan of fighting Gomez? I don't get why they would change that and go with Foreman?? Gomez is going to be tougher for Chavez than Foreman is IMO. Maybe I'm just reading it wrong.

I believe what he meant was, assuming Chavez Jr beats Gomez, instead of possibly fighting Cotto next he could fight Foreman. The Chavez Jr-Gomez fight has been signed so if they went back on it now for Foreman they would have to pay Gomez some pretty large back away cash.

I agree with you.... after I reread it a couple of times, I got that too. I don't know why I was reading Gomez out of it, but thanks for not calling me a dumbass LOL.
