This fight to me is a toss-up. Marquez has a GREAT chance at winning this fight. His ring generalship and poise may just be able to pull it out for them. I am leaning towards Marquez, but this fight can really go either way.

This fight should be a good one. I know Marquez is old and shot but he will go out like a true warrior! I have a feeling that Lopez will win by K.O. I was watching some of his fights on Tube and homeboy does have pegue. No matter what tho, I will be rooting for Marquez.

Lopez may be more exciting, and a bigger name, than John, but John is rated higher and would be more likely to beat Rafa. So if it was really about being the very best he would be fighting John.

That would also be a very intriguing fight because he could avenge his brother's loss, if he won.

The way all the top contenders are being allowed to avoid the top ranked fighter in the division is criminal.

I don't think Lopez is as good as some people make him out to be on here, but I think he's way better than John is and fights better comp too.

And Marquez fought way better opponents when he was at the stage Juan Ma is right now. You can't even find hardly any Mtwagas or Lontiochis on his resume after he had twenty fights or more.
