I am happy for him that he is getting it and getting a career high payday for it.

He should of have gotten big money fights in 06, he should of gotten this payday or more so in 08 after Cotto.

But, 2 of the biggest names avoided him. NO top WW dared to mention his name for the first half of the decade.

Never got the respect he deserves for having arguably having the best WW resume in the last 10 years.

Yes he might be a disgraced fighter now, due to the Shane and wraps scandal. But, I am happy he is getting paid now.

As a Pac fan, this fight does nothing for Pac. Manny should be fighting more deserving fighters. But, as a Marg I like that he is getting the opportunity.

As a Pac fan it would suck if he lost to Marg. But, if Pac has to lose I would like to be to Marg. I am still rooting for Pac and hope he wins. Which I think he will. However, as a Marg fan I would be happy for him if he could pull off the upset.

The way I see it is that Margarito beat Garcia to get himself back in contention.

He is rated #1 by WBC and the WBA. The only thing bad about the fight is the catchweight. If Pacquiao wants a belt at 154 he should allow Margarito to weigh in at that weight.

first when i heard Marg was getting this fight i was disgusted

but the more i think about it the more im not really bothered

i mean i liked Clottey alot thought that him getting a shot at Pacquiao was great because he seems like such a nice down to earth guy and he deserved the opportunity at least but then look what he did stunk the joint out infront of 50,000 people at least we know Marg is coming to fight (albeit without loaded gloves sorry couldn't resist)

The difference between these 2 and 1000's other is they fought/fight around weight-classes where there names that if they only manned up would give them the 7 figure paydays.

Which is not the case for the likes of Moreno or whoever else should be deserving.

i'd argue that Marg deserves it more because he has the bigger wins on the resume he gave cotto his first loss beat cintron twice (when he was actually in the ring fighting) and has a win of Sergio
