you said that Pacquiao, Pinoy and Asian support stops at 250,000 Pinoys.and they was his Nationalistic support.

You actually put a cap on how many pinnoy's and asians support Pacquiao's fights.

You argues that anything over 250,000 ppv is coming from other races..and Not pinoy's because of the david Diaz fight. his Nationalistic support number was 250,000

If you would have read the thread you would have realise I destroyed your argument with the FACT 250,000 is only 6.25% of pinoy's and 1.92% Asians. which seems quite low and non realistic, add to the fact
    I asked the question,

Who are the majority of Pacquiao's fans?
    answer: Filipinos and Asians FACT

So FACTS tell you that Asians and Filipino's alone can support Pacquiao's recent numbers by themselves FACT

    since,

Asian alone are 4.5% = 13.8 million FACT
    Filipino's Alone are 1.5% = 4 million FACT

That proved your argument wrong. That was the whole reason for the statistics.

horus, please listen to me. 4 million pinoys lets round it out to 5 million. are you saying every single pinoy buys 1 ppv each?

what im trying to tell you is that pinoys dont do that. everytime pacquiao fights, almost all filipinos watch it, but they dont watch it by themselves, they group up & have ppv parties. Other asians in the U.S. are not that big of a boxing fan. your 13.8 mill is fact, but not each one of them buy ppvs.

Im trying to explain to you why the david diaz fight is a excellent conservative barometer for this argument. no matter who pacquiao fights, pinoys will watch, but they group up & have parties. THE NUMBER 20 IS A CONSERVATIVE AMOUNT OF PINOYS IN A PPV PARTY. The diaz fight is a fight before the pacquiao oscar fight before pacquiao fought hatton & cotto, before pacquiao went mainstream. That fight did not garner mainstream sports curiosity & only pinoys & a few hardcore fans watched it.

5 million pinoys in the U.S., as i have stated all of them watch pacquiao fight everytime, but they group up, divide by 20 which is a conservative safe amount for a fight & you get 250k plus some change from hardcore boxing fans.

The diaz ppv fight result is a perfect illustration of this.

other asians in the U.S. dont care as much about boxing. 13.8 million asians yes fact, not fact is all them buying pacquiao ppv fights.

    • I read your OP Horus and if you think Pac is boring thats fine you are a fan and have a right to your opinion but all I could gather that you were trying to illustrate was that Pac is popular because of his in ring work and not his personality because as you claim he is boring while others do gain popularity because of their personality.

Is this all you were trying to say?

so yeah, 20 filipinos watching a single paid ppv would really make only 5 percent of his countrymen accounted for. i'm sure it'll sound a bit different when you convert it to percents, but it is what it is.
If you read the thread, i asked him where did he get 20 from?
Because not every pinoy and Asian watches the fight with 20 people.

He basically pulled a number out of his ass..

I stood by the FACTS.. and didnt pull numbers out of my ass...

        • Close to 100% of pinoys in the U.S. always watch pacquiao fights, but only 6.25% of them as your math indicated only buy the ppv because they group up to a conservative estimate of about 20 ppl in ppv parties which is illustrated in the diaz fight.

1 pinoy does not buy 1 ppv. they almost always have parties in a conservative amount of 20. That is what you are not understanding.

yes you stood by total population facts, but you are talking out of your ass if you think each of those asians are buying 1 ppv each as well as 1 pinoy buying one ppv each.

the number 20 is a safe conservative estimate of pinoys watching the ppv fights. the diaz fight ppv totals is used as a excellent example because diaz had absolutely ZERO ppv support & was not a great opponent for pac who was not mainstream at that point & that fight was purely driven by pinoy ppv buys which came out to 250k which supports my argument.

i dont know how much more i can explain this to you.

maybe he did pull that "20 person pvp" out his ass, maybe he didn't. i still don't see the point of you listing that "6.25%" (other than baiting some particular mathematically-challenged individual to correct it...), which is basically just converting his numbers to percents.

but if you really want to credit those 4 million whatever filipinos supporting him, you have to take into account that part of their tradition is watching in large groups (which brings us to the million dollar question "which number should we divide it to?").

and yeah, you may call them FACTS, but you are listing equations and when you list equations you have to take all variables into account or you'll be just left with invalid expressions.

Stop for a second and think about all the vast numbers or small media sources that would help Pacquiao resonate more with American Fans when it comes to being entertaining. However, He doesnt used them. Not my fault, it is his fault.
I know I'm hella late but I don't **** with NSB and it's a really dry day in the lounge...

Nike, late night TV appearances, 60 Minutes, and even TMZ (ran a story the other day about his arrival at LAX, saying it was the biggest mob they've seen)...I'd say he's doing fairly well as far as using "media sources that would help [him] resonate more with American fans."
