•
You say it yourself, inside the Pacquiao is one of the most entertaining boxers ever. Why is it so hard for you to understand that maybe the hundreds of thousands of people buy his PPV's do so because they like how he fights, not just because he's Filipino?

Seriously dude, all you have is "I don't like his personality so nobody else must either" and "he only sells to Filipinos". What kind of bull**** is that?!? I hate Mayweather's personality, I won't watch his 24/7's because it reminds me of a black Jersey Shore but I watch his fights because he is a maestro in the ring and sometimes, he gives us glimpses of his past self. Why do you assume nobody does the same for Pac especially considering his style of fighting is much more appealing to the masses?!?
all bolded in red has nothing to do with this thread. Please explain you see I argued for or against what you are talking about

My god your an idiot.

You have no basis for your claim. You say Pac has a boring personality (opinion, not fact) and claim he's a draw because of Nationalistic loyalty (again opinion, no facts to claim up). That marketing bull**** you study is going to your head, your essay/threads are all glitz and glamor, no true substance. No matter how you present your opinion, its not based on any facts that truly matter just some random "facts" to make yourself feel like you did some research.

Hell you would have had more credibility if you made 2 poll threads prior to this one:

Why do you watch Pac/Floyd fight? a.) in ring style b.) out of ring antics c.) Ethnicity

At least then you'd actually have some data from the demographics you speak for.

as you should!

Manny Pacquiao has very little to no personality outside the ring, so i'm not gonna watch him fight anytime soon.

i mean come on, just so BORING!

I do not know if you or people like you take my threads personally, I sure hope not. However you have to realise, I am a person with a point of view just like you. I have an opinion just like you. I love boxing just like you.
I have first hand knowledge that people usually hate on me when they usually cant debate me or can not dispute my facts. In all of my threads, I welcome debate, unlike alot of posters on this site.

I started a show to welcome debate, unlike alot of posters on this site.
I write my some of my threads with the intention spark a debate, and I participate in all of my threads. I rarely light a fire and let someone else put it out.

I think what you fail to realise and alot of my annual thread goer's fail to realise sometimes, is that my threads are not a battle of GOOD VS. EVIL
but nonetheless my threads usually turns into that, not by my own doing.

People challenge me just to do it, right or wrong. So you must understand I write threads knowing I will be challenged and disagreed with reguardless what I write. As a result, you need to realise that just like in my sig I don’t go around fire expecting not to sweat.

You saying you proved your point to me, only tells me you miss the point.
You proved your point ok? Now what?
It does not change anything, all you did argue what you felt was right in your mind.

I always admit Im wrong when I am wrong, and stand by my point when I am right. End of story.

dialogue is the purpose of my threads, because dialogue assumes different points of views.

Like me and you have

Have a good night.

honestly

not buying it

because if this whole stance about how you want to stir debate were true well then you would know some of your stances are shaky at best

you would be more open to differing people's opinions and facts

but nope for the most part you go on and on about how we aren't "getting you"

so while I see what you are trying to get people to perceive I think it's still safe to say you do this more for your own self satisfaction much like the way Mayweather does what he does

so I say if you walk away with one thing I have shown you in this thread it's this

open your eyes like you ask others to do

because you are about as close minded as those who you lash against

Boxing is all about entertainment, drama, and mystery. Before and after the bell.

Pacquiao after the bell ring, is one of the most entertaining fighters of all time.
Pacquiao before the bell rings, is one of the most boring fighters of all time.

Plain and Simple, Pacquiao has no personality. Pacquiao appeal is him being the pride and hope of the Philippines. So doing a 24/7 surrounding his journey towards his next fight will be boring because he is only 1 dimensional. How many shots can they show of him being cheered by his countrymen? So it should not be no big surprise that people find Manny Pacquiao boring before the bell rings, and when it comes to promoting a fight.

When its comes to promotion of this fight. What Storylines can they sell concerning Pacquiao?

Pacquiao loves his country?
Pacquiao loves for his country is making him distracted?
Pacquiao countrymen find hope in him?

Where is the Drama?
Where is the Intrigued?
Where is the Mystery?
Where is the Entertainment?

Boxing is always at its peak popularity when it has fighters with Personalities.
Historically speaking there has always been two type of draws in boxing that resonate with the fans.

Personality Driven Fighter and Nationalistic Driven Fighter. It's rare, but sometimes 1 fighter processes both and than he is truly
Transcendent figure.

Personality Driven Fighter: Are fighters who are infamous, and notorious
for the things they say as well as the way they fight. As a result, people pay to see them fight as well to see them win or lose.

Nationalistic Driven Fighter: Are fighters who are famous by in large part due to their Nationality and how their fighting style embodies the characteristics of their Nation. As a result, their countrymen and women usually find pride in them and support them.

Personality Driven Fighters
Thomas Hearns
Marvin Hagler
Bernard Hopkins
Roy Jones Jr
Hector Camacho

Nationalistic Driven Fighter:
Julio Ceaser Chavez
Manny Pacquiao
Alexis Arguello
Felix Trinidad
Miguel Cotto
Antonio Margarito
Wladimir Klitschko
Joe Calzaghe

Both(Personality + Nationality)
Muhammad Ali
Mike Tyson
Roberto Duran
Oscar De La Hoya
Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Jake LaMotta
Sugar Ray Robinson
Sugar Ray Leonard
Ricky Hatton
Rocky Marciano
David Haye
Gatti

So instead of some of you guys getting upset that people find pacquiao's 24/7 and interviews boring, just understand that Pacquiao draw is not based on him having a personality. So do not get upset when people say he is boring.
Because you know what? He is.
I'm sure he has a personality. Look at all the things he's doing and remember you have to be with him in the gym and training to know him, like for example Amir Khan.

Parts of this article was corny. Try not to make me cringe next time.
