This is probably his last chance at a run towards a legit championship. Dude turns 33 in a couple days, I think. He's always in great shape but he can't stay lightening fast forever. Anyway, I think he can still make some noise. We'll see how he looks on the 6th.
Yea it is going to be on HBO which is ridiculous and the undercard bites as well.

I always liked Judah, but He was to inmature to fully take advantage of his skills and power. I think this time He will be a force at his best weight. IMO, He's the only one that can beat Bradley is that division. The southpaw is slick, has really good skills and has power in that left hook.
I wish he would work on his right hand, because with a right hand He would be very difficult to beat.

he actually can fight a bit, at least better than his brother Walter who was just a puncher solely

Lucas is pretty good and has been in the same camp with Sergio Martinez, sparring the same guys

this fight should be interesting and a gauge as to whether Zab's return is something 140 needs to think about

If JuanMa stops Rafa in impressive fashion I think he has a real shot at FOTY, I can't think of anyone who has really done more in this year alone than move up a weight class and stop a defending champion, easily beat a top 10 contender, and take out a perhaps faded but still dangerous legend.

Thanks for the heads up on that. Why is it ridiculous, though? It's not PPV, it's BAD.

Another fight with lots of potential will be the Guillermo Rigondeaux vs El Maestrito Cordoba. Corboda at his best is very difficult to beat and I think He's more serious than He has ever been after his last loss. If Cordoba finally shakes off the rust He will take Guillermo to deap waters. Cordoba skills are underrated, but I have seen this kid at his best when He gave Caballero a boxing lesson to take his title. I'm not buying the fight, but I might streem this fight in hopes to see the old Maestrito welcoming the IMO overrated Rigondeux to the Pros.

this is the type of matchmaking we kind of need on HBO

guys at a crossroads facing each other for the right to see who moves on

Khan - Maidana, Ortiz - Peterson (if it gets made), Juanma - Marquez, Abraham - Froch, Pwill - Sergio, and of course Pac - Marg.

                    Predictions in bold

Are all potential fight of the year candidates. We are truly in for a treat the next 2 months, not that excuses the lack of fights in the beginning of the year.
