The article shits on Floyd and the Klitsckhos because they're fights are predictable? I'm sorry those guys are dominating their fights because they're so much better. He fails to mention the type of training these guys are known for, especially Floyd. Probably while Brock is hunting on his off time, Floyd is probably training. Look, I like MMA, but it's probably the only sport I know where you can go from nothing to somebody in only two years. You don't see guys off the street playing at an elite level almost immediately in the NBA, NFL, NHL, or the MLB.

Where was Floyd in 2 years after he started?
Where were the Klitsckhos 2 years after they started?
Where was Pacquiao 2 years after he started?

The writer doesn't realize that these boxers had to earn the right to be elite.

how do u compare brock lesnar, a guy who's never really achieved much of anything, even in the mma, to guys like floyd and the klitchskos?? i kno a lot of ppl may not like floyd, but ppl have to admit floyd mastered his art. what has lesnar ever mastered??? he needed to learn that u cant just get by on half lessons and thats exactly what he had been doing. does that speak to the greatness of mma??? how a guy whos been in the sport for less than 10 years was considered to be in the top 5 p4p???

to say grappling doesnt work in a streetfight is just plain dumb iam a Marine and guess what all Marines are taught how to take somebody down fast and take them out unlike ufc and mma you cant kill someone most of the stuff they do is not being used fully because of the rules that are inplace. i have train to be boxer befor so i know boxing has its place in a streetfight but aginst bums not aginst real fighters who know both boxing and grappling. the chance of a boxer wining go down alot

Where do I begin. How about here, you're a jackass. Lesnar lost because his lack of skill caught up to him. I work with many MMA fans (I am hardcore boxing), and they all hate Lesnar for this reason, NOT a true MMA fighter, as they put it. Luck, and hype ran out on him, at least on this night. Let's quit the boxing vs. MMA debate. Two different sports. Boxing however will always have the richer history, and will NEVER die. Peace.

That's why I'm annoyed when the MMA fanboys say that MMA is better because MMA is more than just boxing. That's the most ******ed thing I've ever heard.

1) brock lesnar losing to velasquez doesn't prove that mma is great. it just proves that lesnar has no skill and is just a physical specimen. if anything this proves that UFC sucks anus because they had a guy with no skills as the HW champion. UFC is garbage.

Lesnar has tremendous wrestling skill.

He's just deathly afraid of getting hit in the face.
