MMA is better because Lesnar lost? Are you effing kidding me? Lesnar lost because all he does is bull rush his opponents. He doesn't know how to strike properly and he can't kick right. Velasquez, on the other hand, is a much better striker, has a kickboxing background as well as a wrestling background.

Lesnar should have trained his striking instead of his break dancing, so much for the baddest man on the planet haha

American MMA fighters 95% of them are EXTREMELY overrated!

it is only a matter of time before the Brazilian fighters collect all those UFC titles just like they did at PRIDE, if it wasn't Cain then it would have been Junior Dos Santos that would have exposed Brock for his pathetic stand up, if Brock can't take you down and keep you down he is useless, once he seen that he couldn't just overpower Cain...IT WAS A WRAP! actually he should have lost he previous fight if that guy didn't get tired because he was dominated in that fight also and that guy had him running and stumbling around in the Octagon but he didn't have the skills to finish him like Cain did

writers like this one, twist facts to hype things up. they are responsible for UFC/MMA huggers to believe that mma is better than boxing.

                  tsk, tsk, tsk
That article forgets to mention that Lesnar came from the WWE and won a title in 2 fights. He couldn't make it in a real sport like the NFL and you can't go from the WWE and be champ in a real sport like boxing in 2 fights either. MMA is entertaining but it's years away from being a legit sport. In every other sport athletes have to work their entire childhoods to be elite, in MMA non athletic adults take up the sport and are considered great in a couple of years.

all this is proof of is that ufc fighters are easily replacable and this is why top athletes in the sport are paid much less than boxers...it's why mayweather headlines a ppv that does 1.4 million buys and makes somewhere around $40 million and lesnar headlines a ppv that does 1.4 million buys and makes $400,000...there are way too many variables in ufc for one person to be dominant for so long b/c his opponents will always be better at one of the mixed martial arts than him and if they can get the fight where they want it to be they can pull of the upset...

The fact that Lesnar is compared to the likes of Mayweather, Vitali, Pacquiao etc. is what's sad.

Based on his resume its wrong to compare him to the likes of Hopkins, Mosley, Cotto, De La Hoya, Marquez.

His career is comparable to the likes of Devon Allexander, Khan, Baustista ( when everyone was hyping him). When you look at those guys, they all had 0s at one point but no one thought they were invinsible because they are/were correctly seen as prospects.

I'm sure if someone like Anderson Silva lost people would be more shocked, the same way they were shocked by Fedor tapping out.
