    Andre Berto and Paul Williams

Why do these guys have no fans? They always try to make it a fight. Discuss.

Because 99% of NSB only follow Pac or Floyd.

They dont follow Williams, The Bantams, etc

Berto just isn't very good and not has he looked impressive in any fights against any good fighters. Can't tell you about PWill though, the guy comes to fight and gives the fans a great show.

These two should fight and it might increase their profiles enough for a contention to fight Pac or Floyd. Dont expect for Floyd and Pac to fight because it 'aint happening for whatever reasons.

these guys couldn't sell out their back yards, let alone a legitimate venue.

As the saying goes...Paul Williams couldn't draw flies to dog ****. LOL.

It's ALL about marketing. Look at Canelo...a 20 yr old with nothing special on his resume could sell out the Staples Center (21,000 seats) on Mexican independence day with a g*ddamn sparring session. now THAT'S what you call promoting a fighter.

It's obvious why Berto has no fans, he hasn't given fans a reason to be a fan for a while now.

Paul Williams, I have no idea. He's exciting, he fights everyone, it doesn't make sense to me.

Berto, although explosive and fast isn't very powerful..if he would have had more pop and KO power behind that explosiveness he'd be a Baby Tyson for sure..but his last couple of bouts have been very lack luster and quite boring even for us..the hardcores. He also needs to step in with a well known name or 2 go back to his old explosive killer instinct style and he'll slip right in to the fan base.

Williams, is a good guy who does come to fight. I believe it's the fact that the casual fan likes the PHYSICAL underdog to win. Like when Mike Tyson was whooping the 6'4+ HW's, or Pacquiao a 5'6 Asian crushing guys 5'11..etc..I believe that when people see Paul Williams standing like a giant next to his opponent and wins the Casual thinks to themselves "Well he was SUPPOSE to win, LOOK HOW BIG HE IS!"..people look for the much shorter fighter to weave in and slap this guy a few times for being so tall..on top of that he's so basic, he's not lightning fast, doesn't have the greatest footwork, and he's not amazingly powerful. So for people to tune in to a 6'3 147lb (extremely skinny) guy just flicking a jab and tapping away at about 80 punches a round it's, it's gonna have to be more to it.

Now we know why casual fans are laughed at. Williams doesnt use his height and their has been plenty of tall fighters in the present and they're plenty of tall fighters now.

                    Dude has 39 fights.

29 of them have been by KO.

He comes to fight. He doesnt take a backwards step and he doesnt duck fighters and he doesnt duck certain style of fighters like the "popular" fighters today. Hes a great fighter and all the idiots who dont follow him are missing out.
