Yes and No imo. Most of the time Tony is stood in front of his opponent and is in close enough distance for his opponents to catch him.
However sometimes, he has shown that he can use his foot movement to use his reach advantage in certain fights,

More often than not, he doesnt use his reach advantage imo

his height and reach (in other words, his size) come in to play more so in the leverage he gets with his punches and being able to get to you faster with his longer legs (chasing down cotto), not the traditional sense of using height and reach to box on the outside....

A: not the same Marg that had to track down cotto.
B: Pacs feet is way to fast or Marg to track, he'd have to literally run at Pac the whole fight, using WAY too much energy just to keep up.

I think the "size advantage" will not be in the traditonal sense, such as Margarito staying on the outside, and/or use his height and reach advantage to beat Pacquiao.

To me, I think Margarito will have a size advantage in the sense that he is not draining himself and will actually come in weighing more than normal. The biggest thing this does is improve his punch resistence, and if size is a factor, it will be in this area.

Think about it, in every instance in which a guy is considerable larger, his punch resistance goes up tremendously. Look at recent bouts such as Peterson vs Rios, and the Chris Martin vs Chris Avalos fight.

In both fights, you can tell size played a part as neither Peterson or Avalos punches had much, if any, effect as far as keeping the bigger guy from coming forward.

Not saying it will happen, but it is possible that Margarito starts walking through a lot of Manny shots especially if he is over 165 come fight night.

Again it's not so much height and reach, rather punch resistance that works in favor of the bigger fighter....especially if there is a 15-20lb difference on fight night.

No, not usually but I think he and his team may try to in this case.

So just because Margarito doesn't stay outside and box his height, reach, and weight aren't a factor? Very weak argument.

His reign in the WW division was due to his size, strength, chin, heavy hands(yes he has heavy hands), toughness and intangibles.

That is what he brought to the table at WW. That is what made a lot of WW not dare to mention his name. throughout the years.

That is why he wasn't successful at the higher weights as he was at WW. Because, he didn't have the size nor strength advantage.

That is why I always prefered the WW Margarito>the JMW Margarito.

To say he didn't use these as tools is just insane.

Did he fight tall like a Klitschko? No he didn't. But, did he use his size and strength>WWs? Yes he did.
