How Many Pacquiao Opponents Had 6inch Height And Reach Disadvantages?

How can Margarito impose his size on Pacquiao?
He would have to use a whole new gameplan. He doesnt use his height or reach.
He just comes forward and throws. Thats it. Nothing more. He doesnt lead with a jab. He doesnt set traps. He doesnt faint. He just throws.
Margarito off rip gives up his height with his style.
If he wins it wont have anything to do with his "size" it will be his power and stamina. He has to hurt Pac to win this fight. Im not sure he can get the positioning to hit him as much as he wants. And even if he gets close hes still slow and when he does land will they hurt?
Marg winning is a long shot. He only has a punchers chance and given the plaster thing Im not even sure how much that is. If somehow is size does win then hey oh well. Great fighters can beat guys bigger than them.
Pac has proved to have a legit chin, IMO he has. I don't know about yours. If he couldn't hurt Garcia then how can he hurt Pac? Maybe cuz Garcia is naturally bigger than Pac? Which means he could take heavier punches better? However, if that is the case wouldn't that fall under size?
I get that stamina, but at the same time Pac stamina is not bad. In his last fight he threw 1300 punches.
Styles makes fight, like I said that is not it. He is tailor made for Pac.
Like you said he is slow and just comes forward. These are the type of fighters Pac eats up.
And, plus he is past prime, ruined, or shot or whatever.
So if Marg does win. size was the factor.
I get the whole point of no excuses, the better man won.
However, don't say size is not a factor when it is. There is no other advantages Marg has besides Size over Pac.
That is the only advantage Margarito has, maybe power? But, Power agains falls under size. Because, P4P power wise Pac has the advantage. But, at this weight?
It is just crazy to say size is not factor IMO if Marg wins. I don't see any other advantages he has.
I agree that size is not a factor. And, Pac would beat him clearly. However, IF Marg wins then yes size was a factor. What else could there have been?Comment

Here is the thing with that though you don't think Marg power is all that. Especially with the whole plaster thing. Like you mentioned in another thread that he could hurt Garcia.

Then you factor in the 8 oz gloves and Pacs power should be the last thing people are worried about diminishing.
Again the ONLY way Marg can win is if he hurts Pacquiao. Period. He cant outbox him. Pacs footspeed makes Marg bullying approach useless. Again negating his size.
Margs only shot is to catch Pac with a punch from hell, hurt him and finish him. Size has nothing to do with power. Want a good example? Look at Pacquiao.
This fight will be won on who can hurt who. Thinking Marg is going to rough Pac up some how and impose hsi size and strength is far fetched. His footspeed is way too fast for that. He will be turning Marg like crazy.
Marg has to hurt him. Can he is the question. And he didnt hurt Garcia it looked like a flash KD to me. Garcia got right up and kept throwing. Its not like he was on ***** street.Last edited by B.U.R.N.E.R; 10-23-2010, 03:53 PM.Comment

A 5'7" Margarito would no chance against Pac, it would not be even made. There's a reason why Marge has a good chance against Pac....because he is 6 feet tall.Comment

Please tell me thats not what your saying.
In my thread I didnt say Pac has had 6 inches of height and reach on his opponents. I just said there has been several times when Pac was the bigger man. I.e: Both JMM fights.Last edited by B.U.R.N.E.R; 10-23-2010, 03:58 PM.Comment

Who said he had a good chance? I dont think this fight favors him at all.
Margarito doesnt use his height. So I dont see how that plays a role.Comment
