Yeah I dont think its fact but the odds arent really in Margs favor on this one. Its really hard to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.

If it wasnt for ****m this guy wouldve been beating Shanes face in with plaster. And probably wouldve never been caught. He hasnt shown that same type of pop since being caught. He was more of an accumulation puncher but vs Cintron, Cotto, etc. He was hurting them with one shot bombs. Especially to Cotto in the body and even Cintron for that matter.

Ive yet to see that pop from him since being caught. He dropped Garcia but it looked more like a flash KD. So its really hard for me to defend him on this one. He kind fo screwed himself by doing it against Mosley. Fans have every right to question EVERY past fight hes had.

My belief is that he cheated against Cotto, Williams, Cintron, LeJuan, Six Heads, Johnson etc. The odds arent in his favor. I think he ruined Cotto and thats the sad part in all of this. That a guy lost his prime in one fight.

Miguel Cotto got cheated out of remaining the #1 Welterweight. No doubt in my mind, he'd of been #1 right now if he beat Margarito... think about how physically & mentally tough he had to be, to be winning most of that fight against brick. He got a rawer deal than Paul Will. At least that sh didn't get hard until the championship rounds. Tone was committing assault for most of that fight against Miguel.

Knowing what I know of Marg going into the Shane fight, I do not think it is very unlikely at all that is was the first time. I see it as being likely.

I think both scenarios is very likely.

Now tell me why you think Marg would choose Shane as the first fight to cheat in because I find it much more likely that the fight that triggered Margs cheating was the Williams loss and not the brutal Cotto beatdown because had he beaten Cotto without cheating, he would have felt invincible and he would defineltely NOT suddenly feel the need to load his gloves for a Cotto victim.

So I'd like to hear your rationale.

Who in this thread thinks that vs. Mosley was Margs FIRST time trying to cheat?

All I am saying is this, Marg better pray to God that he makes enough money from now on so that he can continue paying Capetillo a good amount to keep his mouth shut. If not, Capetillo will be the next one on HBO documentaries telling the whole world how Marg knew all along about the plaster and against who they were used.

Well I don't buy the whole after P-Will argument.

For the last 10 years only 2 or 3 WWs didn't get KO'd by Marg at WW. In the last 10 years. So he has showed power for 10 years. It just didn't come after P-Will.

And, was disfiguring fighters before P-Will. So how could nobody had caught him in those 10 years if he was cheating? Only Richardson could do it? Not even Steward a great veteran trainer who has been around could find it? And, if it was after P-Will that Marg started cheating. Then it also took an extra round to KO Cintron with plaster than it did for him without plaster? That just doesn't sound right to me. Unless you think that his first time was with Cotto?

Now why I think Shane was the first. The training camp ******, it was reported before the fight that he was getting beat up by his sparring partners. So this is not something that came after Shane. It was reported prior to the fight. He also enered camp heavy, he was over 180, he ballooned way up in between Cotto and Mosley. Also the cheap scale that read he was 2 pounds on the day of the weigh-in. Which was not true but they went and burned those 2 pounds hours before the weigh-in. Which drained him you could say. And, that is why he weight 145 and not 147 which he was at on the day of the weigh-in. I also heard he had a whole in his retina and had back problems. It was just a lot of stuff that could of made Capetillo nervous and he did what he did with them wraps.

It is quite possible yes with everything that was going on just prior to the Shane fight. That could of made it the first time.

Just as it could be possible that it had been before.
