No doubt in my mind, he'd of been #1 right now if he beat Margarito... think about how physically & mentally tough he had to be, to be winning most of that fight against brick. I think Margarito's been wrapping his gloves for years, but maybe Williams has a better chin than Cotto? I mean, I think it's pretty obvious he does. Cotto has been down to much lesser fighters than Sergio Martinez. Margarito is definitely a cheater and yeah, Cotto got robbed, but it doesn't take away from the fact that Margarito was landing punches on Miguel pretty easy the whole night. If slow ass Margarito can land easy on Miguel, I'm pretty sure Mayweather tees off on him all night.

My own accusation there, but I'm going by Margarito's pre fight commentary and how superhuman his power got against Paul Williams in rounds 9 -11.

He said he thought Williams was a tougher fight than Cotto, had just as much incentive if not more to cheat to get the big fight against Miguel.
