Comments Thread For: Berto Would Like Mosley, Cotto, Then Pacquiao in 2011

WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto wants to send a strong message when he makes the fifth defense of his title against Mexico City's Freddy Hernandez on an HBO televised tripleheader on November 27 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The card will also feature WBO and WBA lightweight titlist Juan Manuel Marquez (51-5-1, 37 KOs) defending against Michael Katsidis (27-2, 22 KOs), and Celestino Caballero (34-2, 23 KOs) rising to super featherweight against Jason Litzau (27-2, 21 KOs).

He loses to Cotto, and obviously Pacquiao.

Yeah, and I would like a 100 million, a threesome with Jennifer Fox and Eva Mendez, and a time machine.

This guy Berto talks like he can carry any weight. Try to get more than 10 people to attend your fights and then maybe you can make demands.

The only fan Berto needs is Al Haymon because he is the only reason anyone talks about the guy.

Call me crazy, insane, ******, ignorant or whatever... But, I think that he can take all of them out. I think Pac v Berto would be a better fight than people think. I am, and always have been high on Berto. He has a soft chin and breathes heavy after 7 rounds but he also has blazing speed (fastest hands in boxing IMO), and power in both hands... He has very good accuracy and throws deadly combinations. If he can show me some defense and counterpunching ability in this fight, along with obvious upgrades in the conditioning department, I don't see why not put him in the ring with those 3. When it comes to Berto you have to respect his speed and acknowledge the fact that he would make it difficult for any of these 3. They have all shown signs of weakness recently except for Pac... Why not?
