    From a Pac fan perspective:

-No, because Pacquiao is way better than Paul Williams. And who is Paul Williams anyway, he needs to build his resume. He's too tall.

The sad part is that Pac fans don't even know that PWill chased and finally received the opportunity to fight Margarito when he was running around screaming he was the most feared welterweight.
That's true indeed. Margarito was scheduled to fight Cotto
earlier but Paul Williams was his mandatory and if he didn't
fight Paul, he would be stripped of his title and didn't want
to go in the ring against Cotto without his belt. Margarito
tried to not fight Paul but at the end he just agreed and he
got his moment stolen. Paul Williams dropped the ball too
when he lost the title to Quintana in the first fight. These
fighters always screaming for opportunities to fight the
big money fights but not thinking or working towards
becoming the big money fight. The only person right now
in boxing that knows how to become a big draw just by
fighting is Sergio Martinez. These other guys like Berto
and Williams don't have a clue. Williams should be targetting
the recently released undefeated James Kirkland because
all the hype will be on him.

I love Oscar articles. He always contradicts himself, always shows his ass is the one doing the talking.

It is true, Pacquiao wins all day long. I think Margarito has had one fight in 22 months, so this inactivity has already lost him the fight. Pacquiao is too fast for him, and by the time Margarito has threw a punch Pacquiao will have danced out of range.

a mosley fight with pacquiao in 2011 is not good for manny .... mosley is over the hill period .... if there's anything to it, its just a retirement package for mosley & some for the promoters .... manny will not prove anything fighting mosley .... if there is, spill the beans .... ....

Cuz u clearly have to have fought the person before u can have an opinion on them based on ur logic, don't u?
Dude, read what I said before you throw a fit. All I said was, Oscar chose to fight a lightweight instead of Margarito, his opinion, today, contradicts what he actually did. It's a fact, then my personal comment. Grow a pair.

Come on man, Oscar went up and fought Hopkins.

It's re-writing history to say that Hoya did not have the balls to fight a nobody in Margarito, when he took much bigger fights against better opposition than cheato has ever faced.
You re-writing history. And, maybe you should stop.

Oscar- "I will fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito."

Margarito looks like a monster, then Oscar decides to fight a LW who was only a LW for just one fight.

Like you said at least Oscar is a HOF'er. And, how shameful is it that HOF"er being scared of a "talentless nobody"

A "talentless nobody" shook a HOF'er so bad that he made that HOF'er fight a LW. No bad for a "talentless nobody" right?

Is pathetic on Oscar part to be scared to death of a "talentless nobody."

                Stop re-writing history or GTFOH.

If that is the case, then Oscar really doesn't win that fight. And, would be on his bike much, much sooner.

And that makes all the sense in the world. You're absolutely right about Martinez as well. He's certainly worked his way to big draw. Let's go a little deeper with that knowledge.... Pac wins against Margarito as planned. Perhaps Martinez wins against PWill.... This would be a typical Arum move:

Margarito beat Martinez, so we're not making that bout. We'll fight Paul Williams at '47 since he hasn't fought there in years and because he's coming off a loss.

I'm really trying not to criticize the motives of Pacquiao's team, but really, Shane Mosley, now? During the latter rounds of the Mora fight, I told my friend these exact words, "watch, Pacquiao's fighting Mosley next." It's just sad that his legion of followers are blind to what's not cool about this.
