I recall Oscar was ducking Margarito too. He pick the small guy named Manny Pacquiao because its an easy fight for him and brings more money. People around the world called Manny Pacquiao vs Oscar Dela Hoya a mismatch "Circus". Now You got OWNED Oscar by Fighting the Greatest fighter in the world named Manny Pacquiao!

As a fan of the sport, very valid and great point.

From a Pac fan perspective:

-No, because Pacquiao is way better than Paul Williams. And who is Paul Williams anyway, he needs to build his resume. He's too tall.

The sad part is that Pac fans don't even know that PWill chased and finally received the opportunity to fight Margarito when he was running around screaming he was the most feared welterweight.

I appreciate the fact that you're open minded enough to see my point as valid, but why is it ok for Pac to fight people who should or have fought PWill but he can't fight him? There is something amiss here. People need to stop making excuses for Pac and realize that that is what all of his fans are doing, making excuses for him. If it's ok for everyone else to fight PWill then Pac should be able to also instead of getting special treatment.
