It's easy to call out well known, but much older and lighter fighters. Montiel started at 112 and now fights at 118; while Arce started at 108 and now fights at 115-118 (even though he just fought and drew a fight at 122). This kid has good skills for only being in the game 5-6 years; however, he has a bigger mouth than his skills can back up. I reckon that's what a fighter has to do when he's not as good as his counterparts. However, of he's as good as he knows he is, let's see him call out the winner of the Nishioka vs Munroe fight.
Vazquez Jr. is becoming an expert facing superfly weight and smaller guys, just check out his last oponents:
Cecilio Santos: A natural superflyweght.
Genaro Garcia: Fought all his carrer in superflyweight and his last fights in bantam. He went up to face WV2 at superbantam.
Marvin Sonsona: All his first fights in flyweight and superflyweigh, he went un two divisions to face WV2 at superbantam.
Ivan Hernandez: Has been champion at superfly a few years ago. Recent years have been fighting bantam and superbantam.
Anyway i think Montiel can handle him, despite of the weight advantage for WV2.Last edited by sagrevleyos; 10-19-2010, 04:37 PM.Comment

Actually Arce is in his division and is the #1 contender for his title.
However, Arce is a shot former 108 pound fighter.
Who was at his best at 108-112. This version at 122? It just

Im not bashing Puerto Rican fighters. I am bashing Vazquez. Simple

I mean isn't that what we are asking of Andre Berto?Comment
