This is the main reason why i don't fancy Maidana's chances because Khan will see his punches from a mile off he needs to throw his punches straighter. Khan will always be the one to get his punches off first.
that is not completely true. maidana has a decent jab and he also has a long straight right hand that he throws with odd timing. he also has a compact straight right that he used to blunt ortiz' aggression.
if khan tries to pull straight back from maidana's straight right, it could be trouble, especially if maidana steps with khan.

that being said, rounder punches are better vs fighters who are constantly on the move laterally. i expect khan to be on his bike.

i said it before and i'll say it again... the difference here is roach. both are excellent fighters, style wise i favor khan over maidana but i'm telling you roach is going in with 3 or 4 plans and they will all be devised to avoid maidanas "one shot"... and if for some reason he does connect and khan doesnt fall- wrap 140 up for khan in a bowtie.

I give Kahn a lot of credit for taking this fight. I really didn't think he had it in him.

Amir's jab will win him the fight. Amir will TKO Maidana.

Khan will knock Maidana out if he tries to bullrush him. Khan can hit hard and Maidana has been down before. If Marcos tries running in on Khan, he'll get lighten up with speed.

Anyone coming in with a one punch philosophy is usually up schitz creek after a round or two of realizing the other guy is too fast. The best thing that happened to Maidana was to get a rub for being "avoided" by Amir Khan:
