    You're right.

Neither Klitschko has fought a pressure fighter on the level of either Tyson or Frazier, but they both have a shot at beating Frazier.

In an era filled with dynamite punchers, Frazier's chin was not as tested against those punchers as the likes of Ali, Bonavena, Foreman etc were.

If there is one thing the Klitschko's deserve credit for, its their punching power and both have the power to drop Frazier.

Vitali looks great fighting jokers like Arreola, Sosnowski and Briggs.

Ali looked great fighting ATG's like Foreman, Frazier, Liston.

If you want to make comparisons you can't leave out the "level of opposition" fought.

ali didnt look great fighting frazier,or foreman

The performances were not as dominating as say "Vitali vs Briggs" but nevertheless he looked great.

              Yes, I agree with you.

However, the manner in which Ali beat Foreman was definitely great.

I had Ali beating Frazier in their second fight by a wide UD and the way in which Ali rallied back to put a beating on Frazier in the last few rounds in Manilla is worthy of the title "Great". Those were indeed great performances by Ali.

yeah but your leaving out all the punishment he took to get those wins

The punishment he sustained vs Frazier III and vs Foreman only add to the greatness of the performance.

To be able to endure Foreman's biggest punches for several rounds, in the mean while adapting to the flow of the fight - using the ropes on occasion to make Foreman miss - plus coming back with combinations and then finally giving Foreman the only KO loss of his career, was indeed a great performance.

Moreover, I believe the same to be true with Frazier III, where Ali endured heavy punishment to the body during the middle-late rounds, only to generate stamina and willpower in the last few rounds to severely punish Frazier, leaving his face looking like a complete mess.

A performance doesn't need to be dominating, or order to be labelled great.

                    That is all.

post like this is why the Klitchko's don't get the respect some people feel that deserve because it is always some dumba$$ after every fight that takes the HYPE too far
