Bro, Hernandez is just not that good.

Props to Vazquez doing what he had to do.

But, I don't put it as a good win for hm.

Because, Hernandez is just not that good. Even in his prime at best he was a solid journeyman. Now this version of a past prime Hernandez he just not that good. Not horrible, but not that good.

Hernandez is not the top, but He was a good test in the middle for Papito. Papito would do better just by changing shoes and maybe Vazquez Sr adding one corner man with more experience.
Both boxer and corner can't be unexperience and we have to tide all ends before facing the top 3 fighters.

          honestly stop

Choko is simply not that good

at his best he was a fringe title holder getting by off of a win over a drugged out Mark Johnson

at this stage he is a benchmark fighter more than a serious threat to anyone

You act as if your champions take on the best of their division immediately after winning a title but let's take for example your newfound idol Giovanni Segura who after winning the tilte against Canchila took on Juanito Rubillar a guy with 12 defeats and in his second defense took on Sonny Boy Jaro who had 7 defeats, and you don't consider those guys bums?
the problem we have here is that I don't think I saw anyone on here touting the wins Segura had over these as anything of note.

did you? I mean can you actually find me a thread where someone was touting the wins over Jaro and Rubillar as something of note?

by contrast there were quite a few PR fans touting Choko as if he were something special when, if you actually followed boxing rather than just the fighters from your island, you would know he was nothing more than a past prime fringe title holder at best.

or Fernando Montiel who on his second defense after winning his first title at featherweight took on Juan Domingo Cordoba a guy with 5 defeats.
again find me someone who holds this win in high esteem and I will back up what you said

            ....I will be waiting

Wilfredo had no amateur experience and is climbing up the ladder slowly, you act like all champions face the best in the division immediately after winning a title when you know most take time facing other guys even Mexicans do it but you don't see us Puerto Ricans critizing the opossition of mexicans with the exception of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. but heck even some Mexicans do that.
            um let's see

well I have criticism of Canelo in this very thread.

now what you say about that?

This is getting ****ing ridiculous. WV2 looked okay I was expecting a big knockout. When people talk about the Calderon vs Segura fight, people like to rub it on the rican's faces because I can assure that most if not every PR said that Segura was going to be outboxed and outclassed. On the other hand, for this fight a lot of people Mexicans included didn't expect hernandez to win.

the funny thing is while we celebrated on a great victory over a champion in calderun, you are celebrating a WVII victory over a journeyman in Choko Hernandez...who's WAY past his good days. its ok! i give it to Vasquez! much respect to a guy who never fought a single amateur fight and is doing well in the pros! but, to peeps like you, there's zero respect. in fact you're making boricuas look pathetic celebrating this win like a big time fight!... i don't blame you, PR hasn't had much to celebrate in boxing this year! hahahaha!

You can go a head and make a thread when someone such as JM Marquez, Montiel, Segura, or even guys such as Canelo get beat, but who the **** lost???
you only shouting Segura's name because of the Calderon win and to this day I still feel some sort of way about that, they should never have allowed Capetillo in training or any form of Boxing, he shouldn't have the availability to work with fighters again because his reputation is enough to mess up other guys reps, it brought a big ass cloud over that whole fight for me but I wont get into that, nothing was proven but as long as Capetillo is in anyone's corner I will ALWAYS have a hunch that some foul play is in effect..

the point of my whole reply to you though is that you mention Segura as if you would have mentioned him prior to the Calderon fight but what if Segura would have lost? you wouldn't say his name right now but since he won you say it as if he's some top notch elite Mexican fighter when if he lost to Calderon you would have written him off like the many other Mexicans Calderon beat and the way you trying to write off Choko.

then you have the nerve to ask "who did Vasquez beat?" when if Vasquez would have lost you would have done the same thing you did with Segura and mention Choko's name as if HE was something to talk about in Mexican Boxing but since he lost now all of a sudden it's "who did he beat" right, same with Segura if Calderon would have won it would have been "who did Calderon fight?", give props to where it's due man Choko is a tough Mexican fighter and he got beat by a superior fighter who happened to be from PR

Now you are assuming people would've made Segura into a bum if he would have lost to Calderon. Your point is null because even if you claim to know how people act you do not know for certain. You are making ****** assumptions.

Vasquez didn't beat anything special like I said before, the majority thought WV2 was going to win. So it wasn't anything to brag about.
