You have to admit that it is a two sided issue. If a fighter keeps moving up in weight (which Pac undisputedly is), eventually he'll find an opponent too big for him. But of course Manny's legacy takes a major hit if he loses, just like Floyd's would have if he lost to DLH at 154.Comment

Sorry but what was the reason that you gave that explains how Margo would beat Manny? I didn't get that precise explanation from you.
You and some of the other Floyd fans have said that this fight is a joke and that Manny is going to destroy Margo. That there was no chance in hell that Margo can beat Manny. I can get you plenty of examples, if you wish.
When threads or posts were made that Margo has a chance, you and other Floyd fans quickly made sure that it couldn't happen because Margo is a shot fighter. Remember?
So if you guys keep on insisting that those who think that Margo is going to win is in fantasy land then how do you even come up with this topic and be serious about it?

When have I ever picked Margarito to win? Not once.
Im just saying if he gets his ass beat dont try to cop out and blame him losing to a shot, past it, slow Margarito because of his "size".

You still didn't answer as to how Margo does win it if he has no chance in hell. If he is shot, past it, too slow, .... then how can he possibly beat Manny if you say he has no talent to do it? There must be a variable that gives him that chance. What is it, if size is not part of that variable?
So you can come up with 2 completely different comments, as you did and others can't come in here and say, Margo is going to win because he is too big? Or after looking at the fight, someone can't objectively look at the fight and come to that conclusion?
You have never contributed to someone losing because 1 guy was too big? Especially when 1 guy keeps on moving up the divisions. It doesn't necessarily need to be an excuse. It can be a fact.
Before a fight, we all make predictions and why one thinks the fighter will win or lose BUT not until the fight will we really know 100% why they won or lost. Sometimes even then, you need to get more information post fight (example, injuries,....).
Before Trinidad fought Hopkins, I thought he moved up 1 too many divisions. Sure, Hopkins contributed to that but we also know that Trinidad was not able to bring his assets comfortably to that fight. Same thing happened when he fought Roy Jr. Roy Jr laughed after the fight and said, no way was a smaller guy going to beat me in my division. While I hoped Manny would use Margo as a stepping stone, the latest news from Team Manny is that he may step back down to 147.
You know why? They are saying that "it's just too much size difference fighting these bigger guys, .... Margo may come in at 165 while Manny may come in close to 150"
So Roach/Manny too are saying size is a factor.Comment

No one is saying Manny might lose just because Margarito is too "big", but because Margarito's fighting style + his bigger size could be too much for the smaller Pacquiao.
You saying Clottey "looked big" means nothing, did he use his size advantage in any way? Nope... does Clottey's style rely on his size as his main advantage? nope.... Is Clottey a safety first fighter? Yep.... and that's where his size probably saved him from being hurt by Pac.
Anyway, this thread is ******ed, it's easy to tell your just saying this now in the hopes that Pac loses so you can bump this crap thread.
Anyway, props to Manny for taking a risk and chopping down bigger trees.Comment
