Why is everyone saying Margarito is too big for Pac?

You still didn't answer as to how Margo does win it if he has no chance in hell. If he is shot, past it, too slow, .... then how can he possibly beat Manny if you say he has no talent to do it? There must be a variable that gives him that chance. What is it, if size is not part of that variable?
So you can come up with 2 completely different comments, as you did and others can't come in here and say, Margo is going to win because he is too big? Or after looking at the fight, someone can't objectively look at the fight and come to that conclusion?
You have never contributed to someone losing because 1 guy was too big? Especially when 1 guy keeps on moving up the divisions. It doesn't necessarily need to be an excuse. It can be a fact.
Before a fight, we all make predictions and why one thinks the fighter will win or lose BUT not until the fight will we really know 100% why they won or lost. Sometimes even then, you need to get more information post fight (example, injuries,....).
Before Trinidad fought Hopkins, I thought he moved up 1 too many divisions. Sure, Hopkins contributed to that but we also know that Trinidad was not able to bring his assets comfortably to that fight. Same thing happened when he fought Roy Jr. Roy Jr laughed after the fight and said, no way was a smaller guy going to beat me in my division. If Roy can use that, then I think others can as well.

While I hoped Manny would use Margo as a stepping stone, the latest news from Team Manny is that he may step back down to 147.
You know why? They are saying that "it's just too much size difference fighting these bigger guys, .... Margo may come in at 165 while Manny may come in close to 150"

So Roach/Manny too are saying size is a factor.
Clottey weighed 165 or more.
So again cut the shyt bro. If Marg lays into his ass just man up and admit your dude got his ass beat. I dont want to hear "Well the mighty pac just went up too far".
Man **** that.
Marg does not use his height or reach and looked like shyt in his last fight. Pac SHOULD NOT lose this fight. If he does its a big blow to his legacy.Comment

From the statements you have made, I would have to say that you are not being objective.
Before the fight, all we have are opinions. Once the fight plays out, I believe and hope that I can comment objectively...... again, from your comments, this doesn't appear to be the case for you .... Let's hope that changes .... Time (Nov 13) will tell.
By the way, I didn't even say that he is too big for Manny. In my previous posts (other threads), I pointed out that Margo's size can play out as one of the variables if Margo is able to defeat Manny.... but there are other variables that complete the equation.Last edited by ADP02; 10-20-2010, 01:16 AM.Comment

I have already made my points quite clearly in my previous posts.

So now all of sudden Marg is this master boxer that actually uses his height and reach? Man please hes coming to brawl. Clottey is bigger and stronger than Margarito and Manny was fine. Hell Clottey was bullying Margarito.
Sell that hes too big crap to someone else. Margarito DOES NOT use his size. EVER. So it wont play into the fight.Comment

After reading this I am now convinced Margarito has the same reach, height, and weight as pacquiao.
Come on, you got to be the dumbest person to compare a rehydrated person to dehydrated person.
Seriously why would anyone dehydrate themselves if they cant even reach 150 at full hydration.Comment
