Bah. Who else was willing and able to get in the ring with VK who was any better? Briggs was certainly more dangerous than, say, Chuck Wepner or some of the stiffs Cassius Clay used to fight. And certainly more dangerous than Randall "Tex" Cobb, who got severely beaten down by Larry Holmes.

Vitali is just too damn good and the referee or Briggs's corner should have stopped the fight after 8 rounds.

yes and Ibragimov weight 220 lbs and 6'2" and briggs was 280 lbs. Ibragimov fought smart, but threw pillows at briggs.
