I Am A Fan Of Bernard Hopkins But This Is Terrible...

thats what i'm saying, a grain of salt. who knows, ever since Taylor won, **********.com has been all over Taylor and Dibella. and have since been on negative terms with Hopkins.... i would tend to believe it more if it was on frinday night fights or espn, or even fight news, associated press, but **********.com, i would need a little more proof than what they're providing.

They must be on negative speaking terms because in a recent interview Hopkins said that Maxboxing was the best.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Hopkins actually said it though. When he's pissed he does go overboard with comments and other things. I enjoy watching him fight but that's as far as I go with him or any boxer for that matter. What they do outside of the ring or the boxing world I don't pay too much attention to.

Bernard Hopkins owes no one anything. He asked the ring magazine for something they said no so he went back on his promise. Doesn't make it right, but it's his choice.

Okay, I'm not speechless anymore. But, look at WHAT he asked them to do! That alone was LOW. For so many reasons, that alone was a very tacky thing to ask of them. He should be embarrassed just from that. As for the foundation, the promise may have been to an employee for the ring, but look at all the cancer patients he could have helped out. This is the same as a 5 yr. old..showing his ass cause he cant have a piece of candy. Sorry, this little stunt is indefensible. So, his word is worth what?? Breaking promises, especially of that magnitude.
