Antonio Margarito is back! The circumstances are such that I expect to see a better version of Margarito than the one that stepped into the ring with Miguel Cotto. He's ripped and in great condition already. His chin is still there, I don't believe the defeat at the hands of Mosley did anything to affect that. It wasn't the type of concussive KO that leaves fighters chinless. The kind of motivation that is fueling Tony right now is one that will drive him beyond his limits in training and in the fight. He's got so much to prove in this fight and he's coming to give Manny complete hell.
I expect the first 6-8 rounds to be nothing less than FOTY worthy. They'll feature Manny doing what he does best, but in the process allow him to get hit with punches that will have late round effects on his legs. And the fight will sway direction rather quickly. The the body shots from the much bigger man will have their effect and we'll see Manny in rare form late in the fight. Then it will be predator vs prey, with Tony ripping Manny with uppercuts that find the mark almost naturally because of the size difference. Don't be surprised if it looks something like Segura vs Calderon, but with Manny going out on his shield rather than his knees. Tony by late round TKO in an instant classic.
