Anything under 1.5mil is a flop IMO..this is the biggest fight in the last 20 years.

clottey wasnt ever as big as margarito was. Mexicans will buy ppvs look at oscar de la hoya who is the true ppv king, and then look at mayweather marquez on mexican indepence day, that did over 1 mill but it had a 24/7. Pacquiao - Margarito will have a 24/7 and its without a doubt the biggest fight for the rest of the year and nothing even comes close.

People buy ppvs cause they wanna see someone get ktfo, there is a very good chance of that happening on this ppv

You better be ready for me to make a thread if they sell less than Manny vs. DLH because the ****ing *******s on here talked ****, when Richard said Mosley vs. Mayweather would do over 3 million.

If I remember correctly, Arum expected Pac/Cotto to exceed 1.6 million buys. He was 400,000 buys off. If they are lucky, this fight will do 700 to 800,000 buys, proving once again that Pacquaio is not the god of boxing and the king of PPV as his worshippers claim.

This fight will have a Minimum of 1.2M or as High as 1.4M. This has 24/7 which will highlight, the handwraps Fiasco, The Mayweather Ducking, The Mayweather Ex-GF beating, The Fraud vs Biach 1st court Hearing, The Pac winning the Seat in the congress, The Pac winning the Fighter of the Decade award & FOTY award, The Big size difference, The Pac's run for 8th weight title, The steriod false accusation, The Emerging Khan's sparring with Pac, The Chavez JR's ducking Pac in sparring, The Floyd's Youtube racist comments against Pac, and of Course Pacman D Dog, Cheato New Trainer who speak Good English and many many more.

Very interesting 24/7! It will be a Hit!! Just tip to Pac's camp, Please less singing.. Just more sparring & training Clip please!!

To Cheato's camp, Please be a very very BAD BOY Please!!!

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, I highly doubt this fight will do less than the Clottey fight.

One minute you're talking about how the public will buy anything if it's packaged right, in the next breath you're talking about them lilke they're discerning followers of the sport.

I do know that there were average Americans with next to no boxing knowledge who bought Pac-Clottey and felt short-changed, though. I have a friend who lives in San Francisco these days, he was telling me what people he spoke to were saying about the fight. But I'd still expect interest in Pacquiao-Margarito to be high as a PPV attraction - it's just a bigger fight.

What the hell does being retired for two years have to do with anything? Joe Calzaghe has been retired for two years. If Calzaghe came out of retirement, I wouldn't watch his fight if the promoter paid me to ! People pay to see fights because they like the fighters fighting and want to see a good contest. That is why people bought Mayweather\Marquez. Floyd retired as the most popular fighter in boxing. He came back as the most popular fighter in boxing. That can't be disputed, in spite of how much the Pac worshippers ***** and whine and try to deny it!
