Funny to see all the Brits react like they do. It's obvious the British Media is the WORST for overhyping every single one of they're "top level" sports teams. Wether it be soccer, boxing, or even rugby the players are always overhyped.

Bring the fight to USA, and Hatton would not of won. He fought a VERY dirty fight...anyone with eyes and good teeth (sorry brits) can see that.

Baseball is played all over the pacific, with china/japan/all of south america participating.

Basketball is easily on the level of soccer in terms of popularity and the amount of leagues that exist all over the world, while it doesnt get the magnified coverage that soccer does, it has quite a few leagues all over the world, with the exception of the UK basketball is a european love right up there with soccer, and its been that way for the last 40 years. But as far as people playing it, from china to north africa, to russia, basketball is super popular.

American football is a tough game to understand and you basically have to grow up with it to understand the rules, its an american sport that doesnt really need to export itself because its popularity here sustains it enough to where worldwide popularity wont do much for it domestically.

When it comes to hockey, its played all over europe and america.

Dont be so quick to think that americans only play "american" sports, especially since the USA is ranked like 6th in the worthless FIFA rankings this very moment.

haha, by the way J just so you know the World Series is called that because the sponsor of the first one was the old New York World newspaper, not because they thought it was a worldwide event or something. Of course now they put a globe into the World Series logo every year so it's a bit confusing .

Best baseball players all over the world play in MLB so if it's called WORLD SERIES, you can't say nothing shiet about. WHy do think a baseball team from any Europe could beat the WORLD SERIES CHAMP. Floyd may as well fight in Britain if he can just use the ref from mayweather-gatti. Hatton will be kept under control and floyd will make bigger dough than if he fought in NYC.
