Dumb comment. Vitali pounded the snot out of Briggs and didn't lose a round.

Briggs actually was in great shape for once and that is the only reason he made the final bell -- that and a solid chin.

Actually Vitali is better now in some ways than when he fought Lewis and Sanders: he takes almost no punishment while still dishing out lots of it himself and he doesn't lose a round.

Briggs said it himself: Eisenfaust is the best!

Vitali was aggressive right from the opening bell and stayed that way throughout the fight. Briggs was out on his feet twice and was saved by the bell both times or VK would have had the TKO. Actually the fight should have been stopped at the end of round 8. Briggs did show tremendous heart and will because VK kicked the **** out of him. Briggs was also classy in defeat.

Briggs was absolutely annihilated in round 8 and the fight should have been stopped then. All he did was take brutal punishment for the rest of the fight.

Vitali may have not got the KO, but he was aggressive and on top of his game all night.

                The ref was british...

...but yeah it could have been stopped anytime after the 8th. Especially after the 9th - I had seen enough at that point. But Briggs toughed it out and took unnecessary punishment. His corner never gave it a thought and the ref didnt look like he was going to jump in at any point. If you want to be amazed at how strong Briggs' chin is then it's worth the watch.
